***2011 Turkey Season Updates***
Shaun Thomson and Jake Rizzone teamed up Opening Day to drop two birds!! Way to start Volume 9 off right!! Shaun took his first spring bird with the bow, and Jake filled tag #1 with his 12 gauge Mossberg 835.
John Moore filmed Mike Murphy taking his first 2011 Turkey on opening Monday with the gun!
Jake Rizzone and Shaun Thomson fill their 2nd tag with another double!!! Again Jake with the gun and Shaun with the bow.
Josh Genter filmed a first for Beast Outdoors over the weekend....A TRIPLE!!! Three Guys, Three Turkeys come in, Three shots, Three freezers with Turkey in them!!! Nice Job Genter!!!
Rookie John Moore filmed Elite Archery's Chris McCann and his wife Shelly last week. Shelly took her first turkey ever!! Nice Job Shelly!
Well the "curse" is broken...After 3 years of chasing turkeys Mark Gorski finally got a bird! Mark Gorski hammered a nice bird with a 9 inch beard. Shaun Thomson captured the entire "journey" on film. Great shooting Mark!
Redemption for John Moore today! 2 weeks ago this GIANT bird presented John Moore with a shot and John missed (twice)...But not today, John (after loosing sleep for 2 weeks, and burning up 3 boxes of tissues) connected with a great spring bird with Shaun Thomson over his shoulder! Nice bird John!
The boys ended the season with a BANG!!! Mark Gorski filmed John Moore filling his second tag at 6:02am on May 31. John shot a nice bird with a 9 inch beard, and 1/2 spurs. Then with 2 hours left in the season, Shaun Thomson filmed Mark Gorski shooting his 2nd bird of the year. 5 inch beard 1/2 spurs.
